I am a Butler with 35 years’ experience in private service, married with one son. I have many years of dedicated work behind me dealing with private households, shooting parties and corporate dining rooms. I offer a bespoke service according to your requirements. From helping to organise a formal dinner party to a complete Butler  service , I can be formal or informal as the occasion demands.

 

Over the last two years my work has taken me from the formality of a Scottish Shooting Lodge and Castle to a more informal position as houseman in an Edinburgh town house, where I helped to dress the house for Christmas, cooked for the family and cleaned and polished the silver and furniture. Other clients have required me to produce photobooks, dress houses for Christmas and provide a chauffeur service. as well as valeting and carrying out wardrobe duties.I also spent one year working in the middle east for a VIP gentlemen.I am now looking for new clients.

 

 

I have a great enthusiasm for housekeeping. Fine furniture, silver, crystal and glassware all need to be looked after with care and a sympathetic touch. Fragrance is important as well as meticulous attention to detail when cleaning, for example, hand brushing carpets for a thorough deep clean, as well as using correct brush's and polishes for fine furniture, silver and marble .

 

I am an advanced driver and hold a professional chauffeur certificate. Over the years I have driven and cared for prestige cars such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, Range Rover, Ferrari and Mercedes.
